GAME SUMMARY
Hayfield 45, Yorktown 70
Cory Spera (23 pts) and Garrick Short (14 pts) scored well for the Hawks but it was not enough to overcome the Yorktown three point barrage. Short and Donte Johnson each had 8 rebounds to lead the Hawks in that category, while Spera also contributed 7 boards. Johnson also added 4 assists. Freshman Tyler Thornton contributed 2 points and an assist as he saw action in his first game since coming up from the JV team.
