Hayfield's offense makes at statement at Marshall

Hayfield's offense was the story of the game at Marshall as the Hawks racked up around 400 yards.  Senior QB Jason Steward had an excellent evening passing for two TD's, connecting with Soph. Wes Scott and Junior TE Justin Dill and over 200 yards. Senior  Hashan Sesay electrified the crowd with a 95 yard kick-off return in the second quarter. Steve Lynch and Anthony Wilson also ran for TDs, Wilson's  70 yard jaunt coming on a pefectly executed option play.  After giving up yardage in the first half, the defense settled down and played well starting midway through the third quarter.  DE Justin Dill had a number of tackles on the evening.
